Saturday August 4th from 1 to 6pm, CCC will be holding our largest fundraiser ever!

While we strive here in America for schools to be “One to One” (one student to one laptop or device), there are still schools around the world without even the basic infrastructure. One huge example is the lack of toilets. This is a huge reason for young girls in India to drop out of school at an early age. Celebrating the culture of India, CCC will be raising money on behalf of Fuel Foundation, our partners in India.

The event will be hosted by StratIS and BuLogics in their open space office at 3721 Midvale Avenue, Philadelphia Pa.

All proceeds go toward enhancing the quality of education in schools of India as well as connecting them with schools of Philadelphia.

Come experience yoga, acro yoga, henna body art, mandala drawing, sitar and ethnic drum demonstrations and so much more!

The goals of this fundraiser is to improve the basic quality of education while enhancing the schools in Hyderabad with laptops and a pen pal connection to schools in the United States such as Philadelphia.

The Connect to Affect: India Event will be a makerspace community day surrounded by Indian culture. Come join us for a day of activities including (but not limited to) Acro Yoga with Rob Li, mandala workshops and henna art with SplashLab Arts, musical sitar and Indian drum performances by Sachin Shiraj Mehta, and food with Laximi’s Indian Grille!

We will also be serving chai for you to try!

Donations will be accepted onlilne or at the door. Make your donation in advance on our go fund me page...www.gofundme.com/connect-to-affect-india

We'll see you there!
